Our Scout Troop take boys and girls from the age of 10 & a half to 14.

 

Their uniform is a Teal coloured shirt, navy trousers and our Group Kneckerchief.

 

This month the Scouts entered two teams into the District 6-a-side Football Tournament.  They are also looking forward to doing Lasar Tag later on this month.

 

Three of the Scouts entered the Cotswold Marathon during February, taking part in the Bronze Route (12 miles) for the very first time.  They came second in a time of 4hours 22 minutes, winning a boot trophy each.

 

Last year the Scouts had the opportunity to take part in lots of different activities including, their annual Christmas Camp, Dragon Boat Racing at South Cerney, they are also  took part in the District Archery, Summer Camp at Braggers Wood Scout Camp Site near Bournemouth, Pitch and Putt, a trip to the Think Tank Museum in Birmingham, they won the District 6-a-side Football Tournament and the Older Scouts went on a special weekend camp at Miskin Mill.

At their weekly meetings they learn new skills which are used during camping, hiking and many other activities.
