Our Cub Scouts take Girls and Boys from the ages of 8 - 10 & a half.
The uniform is a Green Sweatshirt, navy trousers and our Groups Kneckerchief.
The Cubs enjoy a variety of activities. These include camps, hikes, trips, sleepovers, archery, climbing, games as well as learning lots of new things and gaining badges.
This month the Cubs took part in Gloucester Districts 6-a-side Football Tournament, they won 2 out of 4 matches with one of the Cubs scoring 11 goals! They are looking forward to going ice skating soon.
During February the Cubs were training along with the Scouts and Beavers for the football tournament. They also had a go at orienteering using the permanent course that is set up in Gloucester Park.
Last year the Cubs enjoyed lots of activities and trips including, a spooky Halloween camp at Buckstone Adventure Centre in the Forest of Dean a bike ride to Over Farm from Gloucester Docks. Summer Camp at Braggers Wood Scout Camp Site near Bournemouth, a great day out to Drayton Manor Theme Park, a trip to Cattle Country, the Sixer’s and Seconder’s went on a special weekend camp staying on a narrow boat.
